Founded in 2019, Payaut is an Amsterdam-based fintech that provides an automated payment solution for online marketplaces. Payaut acts as an intermediary between sellers and the various Payment Service Providers (PSPs), meaning that marketplaces are no longer dependent on a single PSP.
The €8.0m Seed round was led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund, with participation from existing investors LocalGlobe and Entrée Capital.
Chestnut acted as financial advisor to Payaut in the fundraising process.
