Alec joined Chestnut’s The Hague office as a Junior Analyst in 2026 .

Prior to joining Chestnut, he gained experience in Corporate Finance at two other Dutch M&A boutiques.

Alec is currently in the final stage of completing his MSc Finance (Honours Programme in Corporate Finance) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He previously obtained his BSc in International Business Administration at the same university.

In his spare time, Alec enjoys staying active through sports such as hockey, padel and squash. He also enjoys outdoor activities including climbing and canyoning, and has a strong interest in investing and the energy transition.
